On Friday, May 30, the Chesapeake Bay Trust will host its 16th Annual Treasure the Chesapeake Celebration at the Marriott Annapolis Waterfront hotel located in downtown Annapolis.
The event will bring together 500 guests and is expected to raise close to $100,000 to help the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. The 16th Annual Treasure the Chesapeake Celebration will include food and open bar, a deejay and dancing, casino games, fresh shucked oysters, and a silent auction with more than 40 packages available.
Both Constellation Energy and Exelon Generation are “Blue Heron” sponsors of the event, with M&T Bank, Wheelabrator Baltimore, Venable and the Great Chesapeake Bay Swim sponsoring at the “Oyster” level.
Sponsorships range from $250 to $10,000 with a host of benefits provided. An additional 100 local businesses are also contributing their support through donated silent auction items, services and merchandise.
The Chesapeake Bay Trust’s Treasure the Chesapeake Celebration sold out in 2013 and a few tickets are still available for this year’s gala. To find out more and purchase tickets online, visit www.cbtrust.org/treasurethechesapeake.
