Chesapeake Bay Art Association (CBAA) is holding their 50th Annual Spring Art Show, running from May 8 through May 15, 2014, at The Peninsula Town Center.

All of the fine artwork in the Spring Show will be by members of the Chesapeake Bay Art Association.  The work will be on display, and for sale, at the gallery beginning April 30th.

The opening reception will be held on April 30th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. The show will continue through May 7, 12:00 Noon to 8 PM. This is a free event open to the public.

Each year at the Spring Show, Chesapeake Bay Art Association presents scholarship awards to future artists from local high schools. The scholarships are part of the John B. Tenney Memorial Art Scholarship fund.

Proceeds from the Association’s Fall Outdoor Show, The Ocean View Art Show, go towards the scholarship fund, along with proceeds from other CBAA events throughout the year. 2013 saw over $2000 in scholarships awarded to 5 lucky students.
