Masonville Cove Bald Eagle Cam
At Masonville Cove Environmental Education Center in Baltimore, bald eagles can be viewed through a live streaming camera installed by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS). The footage can be viewed at: www.masonvillecove.org/eagles
Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Port Administration (MDOT MPA) partners with USFWS, the Maryland Environmental Service (MES), the Living Classrooms Foundation, and the National Aquarium to encourage bald eagle breeding at Masonville Cove.
Smallwood State Park Osprey Cam
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) provides an “Osprey Cam” live-streaming from Smallwood State Park in Marbury, Charles County, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Ospreys have a diet consisting almost exclusively of live fish. Also known as “fish hawks,” these attractive birds of prey are common from the spring through the fall.
Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge Waterfowl Cam
The Friends of Blackwater maintain a Waterfowl Cam located at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge (BNWR).
The camera is a pan-tilt-zoom streaming video cam with a microphone and is installed on a dike within man-made freshwater ponds at the Refuge.
Chesapeake Conservancy Wildlife Cams
Chesapeake Conservancy partners with explore.org and local property owners on three live-streaming webcams that take viewers inside the nests of osprey, peregrine falcons, and great blue herons.
